Non-Contact Visitation - Call (304) 733-6850 on the days designated below
between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm to schedule a visit.
Calls will be taken until all visitation time slots are filled.

Directions to Western Regional Jail:

If arriving at the Western Regional Jail facility from the east (areas such as Charleston, South Charleston and other areas), use I-64 west.  If starting point is near Charleston, exists referencing communities that you will go by include Dunbar, Institute, Cross Lanes, Nitro, St. Albans, Teays Valley/Winfield, Hurricane, and Milton.  After you have gone by the Milton exit (Exit 28), you will pass the Huntington Mall exit (Exit 20).  The next exit is (Exit 18) is the exit you take to access the Western Regional Jail.  Get off I-64 at Exit 18 and make a left at the stop light.  Go underneath Interstate 64 and through the stop light and make a right onto Old Guyan River Road (across from the First Sentry Bank).  After going right, take the next right (immediately after crossing the bridge) onto O’Hanlon Place and go to top of hill (past the Robert Shell Juvenile center) and turn right into parking lot.

If arriving at the Western Regional Jail facility from the west (areas such as Huntington, Wayne, and other areas including Kentucky), use I-64 east.  If starting point is near the Kentucky line, exits referencing communities that you will go by include Kenova, West Huntington, Hal Greer Boulevard, and the 29th Street Exit.  After you have gone by the 29th Street Exit, you will pass by a golf course on the right.  Continue on I-64 east until the next exit (Exit 18) which is the exit you take to access the Western Regional Jail.  Get off I-64 at Exit 18 and make a right at the stop light.  Go the first right and turn right onto Old Guyan River Road (across from the First Sentry Bank).  After going right, take the next right (immediately after crossing bridge) onto O’Hanlon Place and go to top of hill (past the Robert Shell Juvenile center) and turn right into parking lot.
